The Online Payment System is an approved alternative to the use of cashier’s checks and money orders. You may use your bank checking or savings account to make direct online payments to Trustee Barbara Foley.

This is an instant payment system that provides a verifiable, trustworthy, and convenient payment option.

In order to use the Online Payment System, you must have access to an internet connection, a checking or Savings account, a valid current email address, and know your case number and last four digits of your social security number.

Registration: Start by going to Barbara Foley's website at http://www.chpt13.com

Click on the Online Payment Center Link in on the Home Page to begin the registration process.

Complete the Registration Page and click “Next” when done. The next page will ask you for your Online Payment ID. This ID number consists of your case number (without dashes) and the last four digits of your social security number.

Example: If your case number is 11‐41234 and your social security number is 123‐45‐6789, then your Online Payment ID is 11412346789.

After inputting your Online Payment ID twice, click “Next”. The next page will provide you one last opportunity to verify your information before submitting. Click Submit Registration if your information is correct. You will receive an email either accepting or declining your registration request. In the event you have been declined, please contact your attorney for assistance.

Making a Payment: Log in and select “Amount to Pay”. You will have the choice of making your current monthly plan payment or other amount. Next, key in your checking or savings account information and select what type of account it is. If you are unsure of your checking or savings routing and account numbers, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions page on this Website. Routing numbers are always 9 digits long and to the left of your account number on your check, (Note: DO NOT use a deposit slip to obtain your routing number. The deposit slip routing number is typically different from the routing number associated with the checking account). Click Submit Payment once you have entered your payment information. Please note that there is a $2.00 convenience fee to use this payment system. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your payment. Your payment will be processed the next day if received before 5:00 P.M EST (Eastern) and posted to your bankruptcy case within 3‐5 business days.
